An ancient style working pennanular, or open ring brooch, made of pewter, with zoomorphic heads.
This style of brooch has survived the centuries, used since the ancient Celts pinned their cloaks or plaids, through the Jacobite period (1700's), and on to recent years. This item has a large pewter pin and actually works, not just a decoration.
It comes in a satin-lined presentation box.
Diameter: 2 1/2 in. (6.3 cm)
Note: makes larger hole in clothing than regular brooches.
Our Price: $49.95
